What do you want to recognise?

LII works with organisations in three ways. Choose the one that matches what you want to prove.

Your leaders

“I want to recognise or support leaders.”

Sponsor individual leaders for Individual Certification. Each leader is assessed independently on evidence from their own work, at the level that matches the scope they lead, from CEL to CXL.

Recognises: the individual leader.

Your programme

“I have a leadership development programme.”

Programme Recognition gives your programme an independent, evidence-based level, judged mainly on whether participants actually lead differently afterwards.

Recognises: the programme, not each participant.

Your organisation

“I want to evaluate leadership capability across my organisation.”

LEM, the Leadership Excellence Model, is LII's organisational accreditation. It evaluates the culture, systems and accountability that make leadership hold across the organisation.

Recognises: the organisation.

Can we use more than one? Yes. The three are separate and can sit side by side. For example, a company might sponsor leaders for certification, have its academy programme recognised, and seek LEM for the organisation.
